It would be helpful if you can advise me on the issues mentioned below.
I had tried two options to install the OmniSD app on Jio F300B such as with PC, and without PC as mentioned in the below links, and both the options got failed. I did some experiments for installing OmniSD on Jio F300B and I have explained my findings below. However, I have seen an mdn file from the link for Jio Phone 2 (F300B) a firehose is also available on which has mentioned in your site.ĭoes that work as the latest firmware file for F300B and if so how should I go forward with that file Could you please suggest any other Nokia model which can be helpful to develop KaiOS apps, since the Nokia 8110 4G couldnt be found in the nearby stores The official KaiOS support team has suggested going for Nokia 8110 4G with KaiStore and it may be very hard to find in the Indian market at the moment. I am not clear about the solution that you have suggested and I think it would be very hard for me to try out. If instead you want to venture all the search for solutions for your F300B, this link is your starting point: level 2 Original Poster 1 point 1 month ago Thanks, Ivan for the quick reply. If its too complicated you can always choose a Nokia 8110 in your country, or an old Jio Phone with a Qualcomm processor.
The only option you have is to search, download and test the latest firmware file, so you can manipulate the partitions as you wish, otherwise your phone will be always subject to Jios decisions.
Jio Phone F300B is a Spreadtrum-based KaiOS device, and is blocked in such a way as to protect against the installation of third-party applications (the choice is made by the manufacturer, Jio), and this problem also affects the first version of Jio Phone for all its 18 variants, mainly caused by the latest updates. Remember: the solution that seems simpler is never so simple to obtain. It would be very help if someone can advise me Thanks, Sree 14 comments share save hide report 100 Upvoted Log in or sign up to leave a comment log in sign up Sort by best level 1 2 points 1 month ago hi, you cannot perform the extreme jailbreak (guide ) without having a custom recovery with test-keys (guide ). The only one that I found from the sample video which was L50Y. downgrade, install omnisd, enable adb and disable auto updates. Then I have opted for the second option such as installation without PC.Įven though it seems simple, I couldnt find the OMNISD installation files for the Jio phone F300B. don’t buy used one) buy that f220b and do that process. (f220b was the last model which came with wifi feature and improved keypad quality) (buy SEALED BOX only. If you really need hotspot on jiophone, search at local shops for jiophone F220B. so we can no longer flash the firmware as we are currently unable to boot our phone into flash mode. Jio has also blocked the flash mode on jiophones.
be proud as we are genuinely using jiophone under their rules & regulations. Or, there is also the possibility of giving cheap quality net speed as we unofficially using hotspot.įorget about hotspot feature and keep move on.
service center guys will flash the latest stock rom to the jiophone. if that happens, the jiophone users will contact jio’s service center.
If we keep jiophone’s updates on hold for a long time, jio has a chance to stop considering jiophones who do not receive their updates as “jiophone”. the offer can be terminated soon without any prior notice. jio has brought the 1+1 jiophone BOGO plan offer only to cache our attention for a while. In my opinion it is useless to expect a hotspot on a jiophone anymore. Worked last time.īro I also lost the hotspot feature on my jiophone due to the latest OTA update. Downgrade s nt working through Flash Tools ( QPST).
